System Recommendations for: Fox Reporting System – Servers
CPU(Processor) PC with Pentium-level processor or equivalent at 1Ghz
System Memory(RAM) At least 1GB RAM
Media CD-RW/DVD Drive, backup device and media for a proper backup rotation (e.g. DAT Tape drive, CD-ROM burner, Iomega ZipDrive). Daily backups should be made with at least two weeks rotation of media.
Free Hard Disk Space Minimum 5GB required for Fox Reporting System software which does not include Operating System or Database server requirements (Please see Microsoft website for further information).
Operating System Microsoft Windows 2003 (including the latest Service Packs at the time of release).
Database Server Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (including the latest Service Packs at the time of release.) or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (including the latest Service Packs at the time of release).
Display Basic functionality works while running in an 1024 x 768 resolution with 256 colors.
Other Components Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, Anti virus protection.

CPU(Processor) Intel Pentium or AMD K2 Processor at 1GHz or greater.
System Memory(RAM) 512 MB minimum, recommended 1GB.
Media A backup device and media for a proper backup rotation (e.g. DAT Tape drive, CD-ROM burner, Iomega ZipDrive). Daily backups should be made with at least two weeks rotation of media.
Free Hard Disk Space Minimum 5GB of free hard disk space is required for basic software operation. Database size depends on the number of constituents (approx 100MB/ 10000 constituents).
Services Internet Access for downloading new releases, updates, etc.
Printer Printer support provided is for HP Laser printer standards including appropriate Windows drivers. Some reports require landscape formatting (legal paper).
Display SVGA color monitor (minimum resolution: 800 x 600), recommended 1024 x 768 resolution for optimum usability.
Accessibility Internet access for remote support (see software for details).
Other Components Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, Mouse required, Sound card recommended.
Software - Single User Implementation
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP (Note: Windows XP 64-bit edition are not supported).
Database MSDE 2000 for less then 4 users and less than 2GB of database Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 for bigger databases.
Other Components Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, pcAnywhere Host Version 9 or higher or Microsoft Terminal Services to allow for remote support. Adobe Acrobat Reader (for user manuals), Anti virus protection, Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
